I like to experiment with new modules and technologies to learn how they work. These include menus, messaging screens, image recognizers, push notifications, and APIs. This makes it easier for me to implement them in professional projects without having to learn them from scratch.
My first game I put on the app store - I made this for my senior programming project in high school. Everything I programmed I had learned for the project. The only element I didn't make myself was the music, which I had comissioned from a friend. The app is available for iOS and can be found here.
One of the hot new frameworks I'm playing around with at the moment is SwiftUI. The declarative nature of this framework grants huge improvements development speed and noticeably reduces the length of code. I want to master SwiftUI, as I believe it will become widely used in industry.
I have been involved with scouts for nearly 10 years. Some of my favorite merit badges were cooking, canoeing, and cycling.
Currently exploring No Man's Sky. Other favorites include Minecraft, Pokémon, Smash Bros, Portal, and Antichamber
I play the upright and electric bass. I am involved with the Pitt university orchestra and musical theater programs.
